BRP Spyder Roadster

BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products) Spyder Roadster is the first ‘on-road’ vehicle from the company. Previously BRP have produced jetskis, sport boats, snowmobiles, ATV’s, go-karts and outboard motors. The three-wheeled Can-Am Spyder, with two wheels in the front and one in the rear, offers an alternative and attractive look.

The Can-Am Spyder roadster is powered by a proven 990cc V Twin engine designed and manufactured by BRP-Rotax, with its unique Y-shaped design, the Can-Am Spyder roadster could be described as part motorcycle and part convertible sports car.
“Our Can-Am Spyder roadster is the next dimension in open-road riding. A true paradigm shift, the Spyder roadster offers a balance of performance and peace of mind with features like the Vehicle Stability System (VSS), engineered in conjunction with Bosch, which includes anti-lock brakes, traction control and stability control systems,” said José Boisjoli, president and CEO, BRP.
The BRP Can-Am Spyder roadster is built around a Surrounding Spar Technology (SST) frame, featuring a minimalist steel centre beam surrounding the engine. This construction technique minimizes the weld points for greater structural strength, and the light, slim frame offers further benefit by improving the handling and lowering the center of gravity.
Connected to the 106 horsepower 998 cc Rotax V-twin engine equipped with electronic fuel system management is a manual sequential 5-speed gearbox, complete with reverse, and designed specially for the Can-Am Spyder. Final drive is via a carbon-reinforced drive belt.

The BRP Can-Am Spyder roadster also features multiple ECU’s (Electronic Control Units) which monitor a variety of functions including wheel slippage and digitally encoded security information. The vehicle also features ABS, traction control, stability control with roll-over mitigation, and a dynamic power steering system.

P120 Fighter Combat

Alabama-based luxury bike manufacturer Confederate Motor Company has just unleashed its new P120 Fighter Combat motorcycle at the Quail Motorsports Gathering in Carmel, California. The bike features the company’s signature “pure and direct” form with an aircraft grade aluminum frame, extended swing-arm and futuristic design that is somewhat reminiscent of the Moto-Terminators.

P120 Fighter Combat boasts 2 front suspension, solid chassis, carbon wheel discs. Inhibition is responsible for a radial front caliper Brembo, safely cutting into the brake disc from carbon fiber and ceramics. In the role of the driving forces were almost two-liter (OK, 1966-cc) V-twin, with a claimed output of 160 hp.

As the name somewhat implies, only 120 examples of the Confederate P120 Fighter Combat motorcycle will be produced.

Reveal Back, possibly just could increasingly in Front

Scoopy strange quite successful. By applying the Blue Ocean Strategy, Scoopy aka also successfully targeted in the first months after birth. Well, this post just an opinion from me. 1979 Honda CB 750

"The 750cc Honda," as roadtested and photographed in "Motorcycle World," March 1970, Back Cover. The road test author noted this machine to have engine 1979 Honda CB750E 1000024. Examination of the phototgraph reveals a change of colours, suggesting photograph was taken Autumn, 1969.

Modifikasi Honda CB 100

Honda CB 100 seolah nggak ada matinya. Meski terbilang motor tua, jika dilakukan modifikasi dengan baik, tampilan motor ini tak kalah keren dengan tunggangan keluaran terbaru. Seperti dilakukan Agus Sudariswanto dari Darizt Custom Cycles di Yogyakarta ini.
"Mesin motor ini kecil, menjadi lucu kalau dipaksakan besar," ujar sang desainer. Saat berolah karsa, Agus berimajinasi pada bentukan sepeda yang simpel.

Makanya, backbone berbentuk kurva dengan tangki menggantung ditujukan agar tampilan motor minimalis. Rake dibuat standar dengan springer buatan sendiri yang diambil dari per Binter Merzy sehingga lebih nyaman saat dikendarai.

Ke belakang, centerbone diisi jok tunggal yang dibungkus kulit. Agus meminta Reka Puji Asmara sebagai eksekutor untuk alas pantat itu. Supaya ginjal enggak kena lantaran hardtail murni, di bawah jok dipasangi per yang biasa dipakai abang becak.

Dari sini, olah imajinasi Agus layak dipuji. Idenya orisinal dan handmade yang berhubungan dengan kreativitas serta porporsi pas untuk motor berbasis mesin kecil.

Untuk velg dan teromol yang berukuran lingkar 21 inci, Agus berani mengaplikasikan dari motor trial Gas Gas. "Pijakan kakinya juga diambil dari motor itu," tambah Agus. Pertimbangannya tetap pada desain, simpel, dan unik.

Buat faktor keamanan, master rem Yamaha Mio, yang harusnya untuk depan, digeser ke belakang. Sementara itu, untuk rem depan, "Oh ya, pakai Mio juga," kata seniman motor yang memilih pipa 1 1/2 inci untuk centerbone dan 3/4 inci untuk belakang.

Dengan kreasi dan imajinasi yang orisinal ini, pantas karya Agus dinobatkan sebagai Best of The Best dalam seri pembuka Contezt U Mild U Bikers Festrack 2009 di Yogyakarta.
